Kevin had the day off so we headed to Carolina Beach! Unfortunately it was freezing cold but fortunately it was just us - we didn't have other people we were trying to show the beach or anything!

Peter didn't seem to mind that the water was frigid and enjoyed the waves for at least an hour. This little guy hung out with us for a while. His nanny was down the beach a ways, incidentally not paying any attention to him, but he seemed to be pretty much the king of the beach.

Those two humps on our sides are Peter and Jillian after they got too cold to swim anymore. We left to go to the aquarium just after this and it was a good thing because it started to downpour.
A fun dinner with hush puppies and shrimp!
