Peter's Last Talk in Primary!

Peter gave his very last talk in primary last Sunday! Since the church program has changed, and he will be 12 in the coming year, he will be done with Primary at the end of this month! It was an excellent talk. Here's what he shared:

Revelation 3:20 "Behold I stand at the door and knock. If any man hear my voice, and open the door I will come into him, and will sup with him and he with me." This is saying that sometimes the Savior needs you to listen and you can listen and will be blessed if you do. It is kind of like when you want to help someone or need help but the person needs help is refusing or you refuse. If we open the door we will be blessed.

Nephi, Laman and Lemuel were all in the same family, so they all had similar experiences, like seeing an angel, the Liahona and getting the plates. Sometimes Nephi was the only one letting Jesus in, and allowing the Lord to bless him. They were all being blessed but Nephi was closer to the Lord than Laman and Lemuel.

When I read the scriptures and am close to Heavenly Father I feel close to the Savior because I recognize what he has done for me. He is always there but we need to let him in.

In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
